Hi! I’m
Hi, I’m Jess! I’m balancing the adrenaline of my day job as a paramedic with the energy of the gym as I train for my PT certificate. If you see me around Strive2BFit, please say hello!
I’m a toddler mum with ADHD, so I know finding consistency can be tough—that’s why I’ve relied on group classes for over 20 years! That group energy, of pushing each other through, is absolutely where I get my endorphins.
My training philosophy is grounded in knowledge: with my background in paramedicine, a Master’s in Biochemistry, and experience in adult learning, I love explaining the why behind your movements, muscles, and motivation so you can train smarter. I’m all about great functional form.
Strive2BFit truly is a whānau (family) of people just wanting to “give it a go.” While I once enjoyed pushing myself in events like triathlons, I now get my buzz from supporting others to get out there, reach their limits, and try something new.
My jam is dynamic, high-intensity functional movement—think ZUU and HIIT—but I also appreciate the finesse and strength of Oly lifting and everything in between. See you at the gym!
